Paying for Your Pet’s Care

Unexpected veterinary care can put pressure on a household budget. Before treatment, we can review your pet’s estimate, answer questions about the costs, and explain the financing options available.

V.E.T. Care Hospital accepts cash, checks, major debit and credit cards, CareCredit, and Scratchpay. Payment is due when services are provided. If you’re considering financing, our front desk can help you find where to apply; financing decisions are made by the provider.

Third-party financing through CareCredit and Scratch Pay lets approved applicants spread larger costs over time. Both applications go directly to the provider.

How You Can Pay for Treatment

We accept several forms of payment, and we ask that balances be settled at the time services are performed. Estimates are available before treatment begins, so you know what to expect. If a plan costs more than you anticipated, tell us. It is also worth checking our current offers and bundles.



Cash

We provide an estimate before treatment begins and accept this payment method at our front desk when services are completed.



Check

Personal checks are welcome and due at the time of service. Returned checks carry a $25 service fee, which our front desk will add to your account balance.



Debit and Credit Cards

We accept major debit and credit cards at the hospital. You’ll receive an estimate before treatment begins, and payment is made at the front desk when you check out. Online payments are not available through this website.

CareCredit

A health care credit card that can be used for veterinary bills. Approved applicants may qualify for promotional financing periods. Apply directly through CareCredit before your appointment.

Scratch Pay

A separate financing option built for veterinary care. Plans are reviewed and approved by Scratch Pay directly, not by our hospital. Ask our front desk how to start an application.

Pet Assure

A veterinary discount plan, not pet insurance. Show your membership card at checkout, and eligible services may be discounted at the time of service. Ask our front desk what your plan covers.

United Pet Care

A pet healthcare membership often offered through employers. Benefits vary by plan, so review your membership details before your visit. Ask our front desk how your plan applies.
