Emily

Practice Administrator

While Emily’s official title at V.E.T. Care Hospital is “practice administrator,” she is much more than that. She is also a time manager, a mediator, an inventory specialist, a client relation connoisseur and a clinic mom, all rolled into one!

Emily began her tenure at V.E.T. Care Hospital as a receptionist and as the practice grew, so did her duties and responsibilities. Before she knew it, she was dealing with clients and their owners, while managing the staff. To this day, one of her favorite parts of the job is getting to witness the pure, unbreakable bond that people have with their animals. She also loves watching puppies and kittens grow into adult dogs and cats. Also, nothing can beat the satisfaction of managing the amazing staff that she does now!

Born in Pittsburgh, PA, Emily would eventually move to South Carolina to attend Coastal Carolina University. She earned her psychology degree and a good stroke of fate would bring her to the doorstep of V.E.T. Care Hospital. Today, Emily lives with her husband and their two daughters. Her home is somewhat of a refuge for foster animals, as she has fostered over 20 animals over the years.

When she’s not busy with the animals, you can find Emily tending to her successful decorating business!

Hailey

Veterinary Technician

A veterinary technician’s role at a vet clinic is important, especially since they have to juggle educating pet owners, tending to patients and being available to the doctor. Yet somehow, Hailey is able to handle her duties as veterinary technician at V.E.T. Care Hospital just fine!

There are several aspects of working at V.E.T. Care Hospital that Hailey admires. She relishes the small, intimate environment that the private clinic offers, and she loves educating people on basic needs when it comes to their pets. Nothing makes her happier than seeing an animal being taken out of a bad situation and given a new lease on life. She also appreciates each and every day at the clinic, because ultimately, she is doing what she loves.

Originally from Arlington, TX, Hailey was born and raised into a family of 5. Today, she is a mother of 3 children, and has a vast array of interests that includes dinosaurs, skating and zombies. In her free time, you can find Hailey cooking, shopping and spending time enjoying nature outdoors!

Alison

Receptionist

Every well-organized animal clinic has one thing in common – they have a great receptionist who can smoothly handle the day-to-day operations and the steady influx of patients. Alison is that receptionist at V.E.T. Care Hospital, where she not only gets a chance to meet new animals, she is also able to learn about them, too!

A native of Oak Cliff, Dallas, Alison grew up with family members working at a K9 academy, and they were able to land her a job there, too. This experience helped her realize how much she loved animals. From there, she was able to find another position, except this one required grooming and boarding animals. All of these previous experiences have combined to come in handy for her current position at V.E.T. Care Hospital, where she gets to educate people about their pets and gets a front-row seat at watching animals heal.

In her free time, Alison enjoys spending time with her husband, Kamryn. They have 5 dogs (Cho, Chinch, Gypsy, Olive and Belly), a cat and a potbelly pig. All of these animals combine to keep the couple active and on their toes!

Greg

Building Supervisor

Every vet clinic needs a building supervisor, a technician and a maintenance person to keep the facility standing strong and running smoothly. At V.E.T. Care Hospital, Greg happens to be that person, and the amazing thing is, he holds all of these titles. He is not only the person responsible for remodeling the whole clinic. He’s also the person you can count on to perform a wide array of duties, from fixing a dog cage, to installing new lights to helping out with the animals!

Greg previously worked at Rice Animal Hospital, and when the ownership changed hands, he stayed on board. He enjoys being around his coworkers and likes to watch the staff member tend to animals, all while making himself available to help with whatever they need.

A native of De Queen, AK, Greg was taught the importance of family at a young age. That’s why today, he makes it a point to spend as much time as possible with his wife and son. The family also has 4 cats (Cuddles, Snuggles, Nuzzles and Rowdy) who absolutely love to chew on any and everything they can get their paws on!
